Again relying on help from Hop Stop, we were able to get from Brooklyn to the United Nations. We walked over from Grand Central Terminal happy that the weather had not deteriorated as had been predicted. We waited for our assigned audio tour, but were fairly unimpressed with what they are able or willing to show you on a tour. Granted there is a huge amount of construction going on around the grounds. But, in the model below we were ONLY allowed on the third floor of ONE of the buildings..... and for the most part, the tour covered displays in hallways...... Less than impressive and definitely pales in comparison to my memories of going there as a teenager.
This was the ONLY working room we were allowed to enter.
