Walking the High Line

Beautiful sunny morning.... definitely chilly (45 degrees) but the different sections of the 1 mile long raised park in the Chelsea section of the city had enough sun to keep us comfortable.  It is definitely a well traveled route.  We had some podcasts from the "Bowery Boys" that we used to help us have an idea what we were seeing as we walked....Their description of the High Line was something like this...... In Central Park you wander to ESCAPE the city, but in the High Line park you are walking ABOVE and WITHIN the city. 

There is an interesting mix of old and new buildings along the way.  The first one is a building designed by Frank Gehry. Not sure about this one.... but certainly unusual!
