Central Park ...... Traveling North from 72nd

The rainy cool start to the day passed by around noon, so we headed out for a hike in regions we had not seen this trip.  We entered the park at around 79th Street on the West Side and took in some of the beautiful sights....

This little playground is right next to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, but it is still in the park itself. 

We really thought we were doing great at map-reading... but we ended up crossing the park and exiting at 96th Street.  We intended to go further.... but that will be for next time.....
